"Wouldn’t of been able to been on the road back to Fl again if it wasn’t for Shawn and his friends. They offered us a place to rest and made us feel like home. Our car broke down and he offered help all the way through no questions asked, We were able to enjoy the great food, amazing scenery on a canoe and some fishing out on their dock. This place is definitely a must!"

"One of the most beautiful places on our way cycling from Argentina to Anchorage. An amazing lake view and great hospitality from the new manager and all the staff! We loved staying there for a night and had a delicious dinner from the salad bar. Highly recommended!"

"My husband and I were passing through town and were in need of a place to stay on a last minute notice. We were very lucky to have found the Tolsona Lake Lodge. The room decor was Alaskan themed, the room being so cozy and comfortable. The owner was so kind and made us feel right at home. I recommend having breakfast there, it’s the best home-cooked meal! The view of the lake was so lovely. It’s a nice, quiet place to relax. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

"I have only enjoyed the food and company of the staff. We felt very comfortable and love the view of the beautiful lake. There are float planes and wildlife to watch if the people are not your joy (though I would wonder why as the locals are fascinating to me). I enjoy looking at the taxidermy around the lodge and hearing the history of the people around me. I recommend this place for food and local flavor!"
